Course Overview

Directors and senior leaders play a critical role in setting standards, allocating resources and creating a positive safety culture that influences every aspect of a business. Poor leadership can lead to accidents, ill health, legal action, financial penalties and damage to an organisation's reputation.

This course helps directors understand their legal responsibilities and the impact their decisions have on health and safety performance. Learners will gain an understanding of how strong leadership, effective risk management and proactive decision-making can improve workplace safety and business performance. By developing the knowledge needed to lead by example, CITB DRHS training helps organisations reduce risks, meet their legal obligations and create safer, healthier working environments for employees and contractors.
