Yes, this training includes fire door inspection training.
There is no legal minimum number of Fire Marshals in UK legislation. Employers should appoint enough trained personnel to safely evacuate the premises, taking into account working patterns, holidays, sickness and the layout of the building.

Although there is no fixed legal refresher period, most employers renew Fire Marshal training every three years to ensure Fire Marshals remain familiar with legislation, evacuation procedures and their workplace responsibilities. Refresher training is also recommended following significant changes to the building, occupancy or fire risk assessment.

A Fire Marshal assists with day-to-day fire safety and emergency evacuations, whereas the Responsible Person has the legal duty under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order to manage fire safety within the premises.
Many Responsible Persons complete Fire Marshal training as a foundation, but they often benefit from additional Fire Risk Assessment or Responsible Person training.
